Bell County Glass Company, Inc. realizes the value of having a trained, safety-conscious workforce. With a full time OSHA Outreach Trainer on staff, she assists us with our safety mission and future planning.
The Safety Coordinator responsibilities include:
| Development and enforcement of the program and its policies. | |
| Recommendations and opportunities for additional training. | |
| Accident reviews. |
Throughout the year, the safety coordinator reviews the data from our OSHA 200 log to determine our strengths and weaknesses. Policy changes occur as we identify trends that need to be corrected.
We continue to educate all field and shop personnel. We hold annual safety meetings for all employees. We conduct monthly "tool box" talks for all field and shop employees. We cover all past "tool box" talks as part of New Hire Orientation as well as cover Material Data Safety Training .
